Top 5 Social Anxiety Supplements – 2018

Social Anxiety Supplements

Social anxiety is a debilitating mental illness that requires the approach of exposure therapy in combination with relaxation to better treat it. The following social anxiety supplements will help give you the boost you need to overcome your social anxiety by relaxing you and helping you feel better able to deal with new, challenging social situations.

The following easy to use table shows you the summarized version of this post without going into the details of each supplement. This is helpful for quick reference.

L-theanine is one of the most popularly used social anxiety supplements for one reason: it actually works! The best way I can describe the effects of l-theanine is that it brings a sense of relaxed focus to you. The veil of anxiety lifts from you, meaning you actually feel like getting things done and changing your life.

This is important for social anxiety because the feeling of always being on edge tends to discourage you from doing anything to change your social circumstances. I prefer to use the L-theanine offered by SYM Nutrition because it’s the purest form of this social anxiety supplement I’ve ever found.

ltheanine best social anxiety supplements

Ashwagandha is an absolutely stellar social anxiety supplement that anyone who suffers from social anxiety or chronic shyness can not afford to miss out on. Ashwagandha makes a huge difference to base levels of anxiety by binding to the GABA receptors in the brain.

In layman’s terms, this magical supplement relaxes the hell out you, making you feel self-assured and more confident about the prospect of approaching awkward social situations at work or in your social life.

My preferred brand of ashwagandha is the one offered by NutraChamps. This supplement has a marked effect of my anxiety within 30 minutes to one hour of taking it. NutraChamp offers 100% organic ashwagandha supplements. If you are shy or socially anxious, definitely give this a try. I’ve never met anyone with anxiety who didn’t feel some kind of positive effect from it.

Magnesium Glycinate

Magnesium has scientifically proven benefits for treating anxiety, and it is often regarded as nature’s chill pill. The actual type of magnesium you supplement with makes a huge difference to the effectiveness of this social anxiety supplement, though.

Magnesium glycinate is a particularly useful form of magnesium for the purpose of supplementation because it is highly bioavailable, meaning the body absorbs it instead of excreting it, which is what happens when you choose a cheaper form of magnesium, such as magnesium oxide.

I like the magnesium glycinate sold by Nature’s Healing Hands simply because it works better than any other magnesium supplement I’ve tried. I recommend people with social anxiety take your magnesium supplement when you wake up in the morning. This way, you’ll feel relaxed throughout the day, and the physical anxiety symptoms you get in social situations become much less noticeable.

Rhodiola Rosea

Rhodiola Rosea is a superb anxiolytic supplement useful for treating social anxiety. In fact, Russians have used this supplement for years to combat every day and anxiety and improve their mood.

Rhodiola Rosea lowers your cortisol levels and similarly, it inhibits MAO. Both of these mechanisms influence this social anxiety supplement’s superb anti-anxiety effects.

Gaia Herbs sells a really good rhodiola rosea supplement that I have used plenty of times with great effect. As a socially anxious person, you can expect this supplement to lower your baseline stress and anxiety levels, which has the effect of making daunting social situations seem less stressful. When you approach social situations with a relaxed feeling they tend to turn out much better.

rhodiola rosea social anxiety supplements

You know how social anxiety often causes you to feel down, withdrawn, and a bit meh about life? Well, I’ve found that l-tryptophan is the perfect supplement for combating such bleak feelings. The mood boost as a result of using such a supplement is that you feel much more motivated to be social.

The only real way to overcome social anxiety is to understand through repeated experiences that social interactions are not scary. L-tryptophan works because it makes you feel like you want to go out and experience the world by talking to other people or joining a class.

I prefer the l-tryptophan sold by Source Naturals, which works remarkably well. If you are at the lowest of the low, this is one of the best social anxiety supplements to take to get you talking to people again.

So, that rounds up this list of the best social anxiety supplements. If you want to know what stack of social anxiety supplements I recommend a combination of Rhodiola Rosea, ashwagandha, and l-theanine, which works for well for me.

Not all of these social anxiety supplements will have a great effect on you, but I think they represent the most potent and powerful substances you can take for social anxiety outside of antidepressants or benzodiazepines, which both come with awful side-effects. Good luck.

The 6 Best Anxiety Books You Need To Read – 2018

Best Anxiety Books

For this blog post, I want to recommend the 3 best anxiety books I’ve ever read that actually helped me overcome anxiety. If you want a summary of the best anxiety books without reading what is a quite detailed blog post, or you simply don’t want to read the entire article, I’ve made a table below comparing the six best anxiety books. Good luck with your choice:

ItemBest ForPriceRating
When Panic Attacks by David BurnsA CBT-based approach to understanding an overcoming anxiety. $4.8 out of 5
Rewire Your Anxious BrainIncredibly detailed scientific explanation of anxiety$4.6 out of 5
Feel the Fear . . . and Do It AnywayA wonderful approach to exposure therapy which can help you take action to overcome anxiety$4.6 out of 5

The simple act of reading books with the intention of treating anxiety and depression is actually referred to as a kind of therapy, known as ‘bibliotherapy’. The premise of bibliotherapy and how it ties in with the ethos of this blog – is that you can hack your brain and change your thought patterns by leveraging some fantastic books that contain invaluable knowledge and exercises to help you overcome mental ailments.

Reading in itself is quite therapeutic, but when you can combine that with knowledge from some of the world’s leading therapists, you have a powerful tool to add to your arsenal in overcoming anxiety or depression. Furthermore, you’ll notice that these six books don’t only provide information–they provide the action you need to take to change your thought patterns permanently through cognitive behavioral exercises and exposure therapy.

While anxiety and depression do have some overlapping symptoms and often occur in tandem, I’d like to recommend the best anxiety books separately as I want to specifically help you target your anxiety instead of recommending books on the broader topic of mental illness. There will be a separate post in the future for the best books for depression.

Numerous studies have verified the efficacy of bibliotherapy in helping to change your thought patterns and overcome anxiety. If you are skeptical, please check out this meta-analysis of hundreds of bibliotherapy studies. The results show that books can be as effective as standard psychotherapy in treating anxiety. I think this is pretty amazing, so if you like to read, make sure you dive into one of the below books. There is no reason not to loverage the power of knowledge from people who have spent decades studying conditions like anxiety and depression. Especially when books are just so damned cheap, and reading in itself is calming. Let’s get started.

  1. When Panic Attacks by David D. Burns

This author knows pretty much everything there is to know about conditions such as anxiety and depression. David Burns is a world renowned psychiatrist who revolutionized CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) as a depression treatment during the 1980s.

He is also a trusted source on anxiety too, and I’ve chosen this book because it specifically deals with only anxiety, while his other books are more targeted at depression. When Panic Attacks features a comprehensive guide to pretty much every anxiety disorder you can think of and it is regarded by psychiatrists and patients alike as one of the best anxiety books of all time. He goes through the whole gamut of anxiety disorders from hypochondria to social anxiety disorder. He not only describes the causes of each disorder but he also offers solutions thattie in with the ten fundamental false thinking issues that the principle of cognitive behavioral therapy is based on.

David describes how cognitive distortions lead to anxiety, and suggests multiple exercises to help overcome anxiety. Performing these exercises literally helps to shape the way you think for the better and become less anxious. The only warning I’ll give you is that unless you practice the exercises inside, you’ll never change your thinking. So use what this book teaches you, and put it into practice so that you can experience a permanent change in mindset. Considering David manages to deliver an entire CBT course worth content in this book, I think it’s ridiculously good value for money. A normal CBT course would set you back $500+ from a trained cognitive behavioral therapist. For me, this is the gold standard of bibliotherapy for anxiety and that’s the main reason I recommend it as one of the best anxiety books on the market.

You can purchase the paperback or Kindle version of When Panic Attacks on Amazon here:

If you are the kind of person who prefers listening to books rather than reading them, you can buy an audio version too for a few extra bucks.

2. Rewire Your Anxious Brain.

I like this book simply because of the really clear scientific approach it takes. You’ll learn in-depth about the causes of your anxiety, which is important if you’ve ever felt that horrible frustration associated with not knowing where the heck your anxiety is coming from. The book is actually written by two psychiatrists, and they complement each other well. Understanding things fro m a scientific perspective is quite nice if you’re curious about how complex the brain really is, and trust me, it’s damn complicated.

Despite the extraordinary complex brains we all have in our heads, these authors manage to explain the origins of anxiety without going too much into technical jargon that the average reader can’t understand, so I think they need to be saluted for that.

This book is pivotal if you want a deeper understanding of the mechanism of anxiety. The deep neurobiology underpinning symptoms of anxiety is not only fascinating to read about, but the book also provides some great evidence-based tips that help to overcome anxiety. Much of these tips I still use today such as eating correctly (they teach you what foods are good/bad for anxiety) and meditation.  For its unique depth of information and its no-frills coping strategies, I recommend Rewire your Anxious Brain as one of the best anxiety books you can find anywhere.

Clicking the below image will take you to the Amazon page for Rewire Your Brain. As far as I can tell, there is no audiobook version available yet.

3. Feel The Fear & Do It Anyway by Susan Jeffers

I absolutely love this book for anxiety because it helps with taking action, which is a major struggle for anxious people. The author helps you identify the destructive aspects of excessive fear and how it holds you back in all areas of your life. Furthermore, she provides a structured blueprint to help you take the action that will change your attitudes and beliefs.

Susan Jeffers is a proponent of the idea that permanent shifts in the mindset of an anxious person occur through positive reinforcement associated with “doing the thing” anyway, despite the fear you might feel. I am inclined to agree with her on that point. Although supplements can help you better deal with your initial fear, this book provides a catalyst for you to change your action and shape your own life, instead of letting your anxiety dominate what you do, or more aptly, what you don’t do.

There is an entire field of therapy known as exposure therapy – and its main goal is to get you taking action to overcome your fears. All the understanding  of anxiety and the negative thought processes behind it will not make much of a difference unless you change how you think through positive reinforcement associated with taking action that helps you realize the thing you feared in the first place wasn’t actually that scary. For me, Feel The Fear & Do It Anyway is one of the best anxiety books you’ll find because it contains everything you need to know about exposure therapy.

4. The Ten Best-Ever Anxiety Management Techniques

I think this is a wonderful book if you want a great detailed summary of some of the best anxiety management techniques in modern psychoanalysis. Margaret Wehrenberg is the author, and she has a PHD in psychiatry so you know that you’re reading information from someone who has an incredibly in-depth understanding of the condition.

This book explains anxiety really well, in a quite witty way, without delving into psychoanalytic babble or jargon that is unapproachable for anyone without serious knowledge of biochemistry. For me, it was really eye-opening to see some of the tips that she suggests, backed by her own research and that of others in her field. In one case, she explains how abstaining completely from caffeine can reduce anxiety as much as 50%.

I was really skeptical about this claim, possibly because I used to be a huge coffee addict–I love the taste and the smell of it. I decided one week without any coffee or other forms of caffeine couldn#’t hurt me and I was shocked by the results. I now drink strictly decaffeinated coffee, even though I can admit it doesn’t taste as good. I treat myself to coffee at the weekends though and I avoid aspartame like the plague. This is a chemical found in diet coke and also used as a sweetener and I have to agree with the author that both reducing caffeine and avoiding aspartame have helped anxiety substantially.

For practical anxiety tips backed up by information from a really intelligent woman who knows what she’s talking about when it comes to anxiety disorders, you can’t not include this in any list of the six best anxiety books.

5. The Anxiety & Phobia Workbook by Edmund Bourne

This is another inclusion on the realm of best anxiety books that focus on cognitive behavioral therapy as an anxiety solution for permanent change. The book is incredibly detailed and reminiscent of When Panic Attacks, which I’ve also linked to above.

This one does slightly differ from David Burns’ choice though so that’s why I’ve recommended it separately. Where this one stands out is a clearer focus on exercises. Hence the word “workbook” in the title. I think When Panic Attacks is difficult to beat for the sheer depth of information it offers but I love the exercises in this that help to reinforce the cognitive behavioral principles.

It is a really easy to follow book, although I’d suggest going with one chapter at a time instead of reading it straight through if you want to get the most out of it.

6. Performing Under Pressure by Hendrie Weisinger

For the final addition to this list of best anxiety books, I thought I’d add something a bit different. Many people find that their anxiety really only manifests itself in certain situations. Whether this is talking to someone you find attractive, trying to impress at an interview, or giving a presentation; situational anxiety is a different beast because you might feel perfectly ok at all other times.

The book focuses on pressure, especially internal pressure that you create under certain situations, and by understanding this, it then moves on to teaching you how to reduce the pressure you unrealistically put on yourself. I think this book is really great because performance anxiety can be unbelievable frustrating. This book is full of actionable tips and insight to help you embrace the specific situations that scare you. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who suffers from situational anxiety.

I love all six of these books so I’m finding it very difficult to come up with a recommendation for one of them. If I was forced to choose, When Panic Attacks would probably be the best one in terms of how deep it explores anxiety from a CBT approach.  I’m also a huge fan of Feel The Fear & Do It Anyway because of the fact that it gets you taking action instead of letting your anxiety control your fears. These two best anxiety books made the most difference to my life if I could actually quantify that difference. I’ve read everything on this list, though, so check the nifty summary table above if you want to know which book is best for you.

But these six books together represent my pick of the best anxiety books you’ll find anywhere. Please note that this psot contains affiliate links, although I only recommend books I’ve actually read.

Top 5 Natural Anxiety Remedies – 2018

Natural Anxiety Remedies

Searching for natural anxiety remedies that actually work to calm you down can be like searching for a needle in a haystack full of useless pills that don’t do anything. I’ve found that the best anxiety remedies are often those that contain natural ingredients only – no fake chemicals.

If you want to skip the reviews and find out what they five best anxiety remedies are in a neat little table form, you’re in luck. This is a summary of the much more detailed info you’ll find in the rest of the post. Good luck!

A Word On Benzodiazepines

I suffered from anxiety for years, and these tablets helped me out more than any SSRI or benzodiazepine ever did. I know benzodiazepines are the gold standard for anxiety treatment, and I will never lie and pretend they don’t help anxiety because they really do. But that help comes at a cost. Firstly, “benzos” just mask anxiety–they don’t do anything to naturally calm you down. They are essentially made up of really strong chemicals that stimulate your GABA receptors, which are areas in your brain that release the calming chemical GABA. Secondly, benzodiazepines are extraordinarily addictive to the point that you can become physically dependent on them. A physical dependence is extremely dangerous because abrutly stopping benzodiazepines in that state can cause seizures.

That’s why I much prefer natural anxiety remedies. They’re significantly safer and they leverage the power of naturally occurring herbs for anxiety relief that causes a permanent shift towards calmness instead of masking your anxiety like benzos do.  I recommend taking a combination of at least two of these pills for maximum anxiolytic effects. The great thing is that if you don’t like one of these pills or they’re not having desirable effects, you can stop them safely without needing to taper. None of these substances make you become physically dependent.  Here are my favorite five natural anxiety remedies:

Chamomile Comfort

natural anxiety remedies

This supplement works like a charm for calming you down. What I love about it is that it takes some of the best natural anxiety herbs and combines them into one pill. This is not only convenient but it’s also extremely calming.

I performed an experiment whereby I took a Xanax and one Chamomile Comfort pill, while blindfolded on separate occasions. I genuinely couldn’t tell the difference between the two.

Chamomile Comfort contains chamomile, as per the name. This is a flower that has been used for thousands of years to treat anxiety and promote calmness. Furthermore, the addition of Lemon Balm, L-Theanine, and Valerian helps to make this product extremely relaxing.

Image via Flickr by  Leszek.Leszczynski

Whenever I’m really feeling on edge, popping one of these pills helps a lot. And they’re not physically addictive, unlike benzodiazepines. If you are looking for a powerful anxiety remedy that really calms you down, I’d recommend starting off with Chamomile Comfort.

I’m struggling to think of anything bad about Chamomile Comfort, so I’m giving it 5 out of 5 stars!

Gaia Herbs Passionflower

Gaia Herbs Passionflower natural anxiety relief

Passionflower is one of the most underrated natural anxiety remedies. There are many passionflower extracts available on Amazon but I like the option that Gaia Herbs offers because it is really potent. It is a little bit pricier but certainly worth it because this stuff provides exceptionally powerful natural anxiety relief.

Most anxious people don’t want mild relief from symptoms; they want something that has a powerful anxiolytic effect without the addictive properties of stuff like Xanax or Valium.

This passionflower pill makes me feel a lot less nervous, and it is great to use as a supplement alongside other remedies. Furthermore, it is fantastic for sleep, which is something that anxious people often struggle with.

You get 60 pills in a bottle, which works out as just $1.08 per dose, based on current prices. The only minor issue with this supplement is that it might make you a bit too sleepy to focus on high-level tasks, so you’d be better off only taking it at night. I give Gaia Herbs passionflower supplement 4.5 out of 5 stars!

Lavender Oil by Integrative Therapeutics

Integrative Therapeutics - Lavela WS 1265 - Clinically Studied Lavender Oil to Reduce Anxiety - 60 Softgels

I found out about lavender oil as a great natural anxiety remedy completely by accident. I’m the kind of person who spends hours on the net looking up studies that show promise for various supplements in overcoming anxiety.

This exciting study conducted in Germany tested lavender oil as an anxiety treatment, and it delivered similar results to lorazepam (a common benzodiazepine used to provide fast anxiety relief).

There are numerous lavender supplements online, but I like this one because it comes in an easy to take soft gel capsule form.  You get 60 pills, which works out at less than $0.6 per day, which is amazing value. Another reason I chose this one is because it is the exact same product used in the German study above (albeit manufactured by a different company).

I can verify that these lavender oil pills legitimately reduce anxiety, and the effect is pretty instantaneous, which makes it perfect for moments of acute anxiety.

I give this supplement five stars out of five because there aren’t any negative side-effects, the product is cheap, and it’s really effective. Make sure to visit the Amazon page to check out more reviews as this is a relatively new product in terms of people trying it as an option for natural anxiety remedies.

Standard Process Min-Chex 90 Capsule

Standard Process Min-Chex 90 Capsules

This is perhaps one of the more obscure natural anxiety remedies on this list, but that doesn’t take anything away from its efficacy. As you can see, it has a vague name “Min-chex”, which doesn’t seem to point towards any natural ingredient. I first became curious about this product when searching on Amazon for anxiety supplements. I noticed this was rated very highly, and my curiosity was piqued.

Upon detailed inspection of the ingredients, I noticed that it contained a vast array of extremely effective naturally occurring ingredients. To give you just a sample, here are some of the contents:

  • Magnesium citrate: known to be one of the more effective magnesium compounds that doesn’t run straight through you. Magnesium has often been regarded as nature’s natural calming mineral.
  • Vitamin B6. Also known as pyridoxine, this vitamin has been demonstrated to be lacking in women suffering from panic attacks and other anxiety disorders.
  • Iodine. Iodine deficiency is an often understated cause of panic attacks. The problem is that at high levels, iodine is also known to worsen anxiety. This supplement delivers just the right dosage to ensure that you feel better and less prone to panic.

The above three ingredients are not exhaustive–this supplement contains quite a lot of other helpful calming vitamins and minerals. I would suggest that for panic attack sufferers, this might be a great supplement to add to your arsenal. My only concern was the inclusion of iodine as going overboard with that isn’t good. But if you stick to recommended doses, you’ll be absolutely fine.

During the height of my panic attacks, this supplement made a huge difference for me and I believe it can help you too. Just look at the amount of positive reviews from verified buyers on Amazon and you’ll see that it evidently works for plenty of people besides me. I don’t take Min-Chex anymore but I’d seriously consider it if you suffer from panic.

Tranqulene Total Calm

Natural anxiety relief treatment by Tranquilene Total Calm. Best GABA and Serotonin mood support supplement. Fast acting anti anxiety formula for better sleep, stress relief or panic attacks naturally 60 count

Capping off this list of the five best natural anxiety remedies is Total Calm by a company named Tranquilene. I’m a huge fan of this and I feel it’s one of the best natural anxiety remedies y0u can take for generalized anxiety. It takes the herbal approach and all ingredients are 100% natural. The idea behind it is to restore the balance of nutrients in the body to a state that supports calmness.

There is actually a plethora of evidence that anxiety is worsened when you’re not feeding your body enough calming minerals, vitamins and other natural relaxers. This anxiety supplement contains an impressive 15 different natural ingredients, including Calcium, Vitamin B Complex, Magnesium, Passion Flower, GABA, L-Tryptophan, and Ashwagandha. All of these ingredients are 100% natural and organic, while been known to calm you down.

For me, the effect of this supplement was extremely noticeable. The initial reduction in anxiety is quite strong, and as you continuously take it, you’re naturally building up the amount of these calming herbs and vitamins, and thus experiencing a gradual shift in calmness that becomes permanent over time. I still take this pill to this day because I was so impressed with it.

The price is decent too and I think it’s an extremely affordable everyday natural anxiety remedy. I credit this supplement with initially keeping my anxiety down to a level that was bearable. My only real issue with it was that once the levels of the nutrients it contained had been restored, the effect wasn’t as strong for me. So I’d take the tablet and wouldn’t experience much calmness–but this was probably because I was already permanently reduced to a lower baseline level of anxiety. I’d seriously recommend purchasing a one month supply and taking it from there.

I think all five of these products are fantastic in their own way, and the great thing is you can combine them to develop your own personal stack of natural anxiety remedies. I have taken all five supplements together and I’d recommend doing that if you can afford it and you’ve talked to your doctor about it, but if you are short of cash or want to err on the side of caution, I’d combine one of the most general supplements, which would be either Total Calm or  Chamomile Comfort with one of the others. Take the passionflower supplement for improved sleep or the lavender supplement for quick anxiety relief. For panic attacks, you might be better off with Min-Chex.

You should always ask your general practitioner first about supplements for anxiety and or depression, especially if you plan on combining more than 2 of these natural anxiety remedies. They are all completely safe on their own, but the reason you need to exercise caution is that your doctor will be able to guide you towards choosing the right remedy for you, and your doctor will know more about the safe combinations of these supplements because he has undergone years of training. Just be advised that it is extremely difficult to overdose on any of the ingredients in these products and that’s why I’ve included them because they are generally a lot safer than benzodiazepines, which can be lethal when combined with alcohol.

If I was forced to choose only one of these products I would go with Chamomile Comfort as it’s the most helpful general anxiety remedy in my humble opinion. But it would be a really close call when choosing between Chamomile Comfort and Total Calm. Chamomile Comfort edges it because for me, even now that my anxiety is almost non-existent, I can still notice Chamomile Comfort having a relaxing effect. It’s the ultimate chill pill and should be part of anyone’s arsenal who is interested at all in natural anxiety remedies.

If you purchase one of these natural anxiety remedies, please let me know what you think of them in the comments below. Or if you have any other natural anxiety remedies to add, you are  also welcome to comment. I would like to laso point out that this post uses affiliate links, which means I get a small percentage of the cost of any product you buy using such links. I only ever recommend products I’ve tried and found useful.

Good luck!

60 Second Panic Solution: My Review

The 60 Second Panic Solution is by far the best natural panic attack treatment I’ve ever used, and I’m going to tell you why in this review post.

There are thousands of websites on the internet selling supposed panic attack ‘cures’ that are absolutely crap. It really annoys me when I see companies charging $150+ to vulnerable people for stuff that simply doesn’t work. And it’s often a nightmare to try and get your money back from these companies.

I must have spent over $500 trying different programs, mostly because I was desperate to get rid of my crippling panic attacks.

The 60 Second Panic Solution is unique because it actually works to overcome feelings of panic. It is the only non-medicative panic attack treatment I’ve ever found that actually works.

As a former sufferer of some pretty bad panic attacks, this is a topic that invokes quite a lot of emotion in me. If you’ve ever had one, you’ll know how truly terrifying they are. You feel like your world is collapsing; you can’t breathe, you can’t think, and you are slowly losing control. I know what it’s like. I used to have an attack every other day, often completely out of the blue.

If you are struggling with panic attacks like I used to, this might be one of the most important reviews you ever read.

I used to take benzodiazepines such as Xanax just to get through the bad days. It was horrible because while the tablets worked quite well at reducing anxiety, they turned me into a lazy zombie. I just sat at home watching television and eating all day, and that was no way to live my life either.

I yearned for a natural panic attack treatment that actually worked, and I didn’t want to rely on addictive pills all my life that altered my personality. I didn’t have thousands of dollars to pay a professional therapist to help me overcome my issues. Just one CBT session normally costs $150 where I live and most therapists recommend a minimum of ten sessions. There was just no way I could afford that.

I thought all hope was lost for me, that I’d be stuck with the choice between experiencing terrifying panic attacks for the rest of my life or I’d have to take sedative tablets that stripped away the best parts of my personality such as my empathy, sense of humour, and my ambition.

Then one day, I got very lucky. I posted on a popular anxiety forum called No More Panic. This is a site where thousands of people come to seek help and support for their anxiety issues. I posted on the forum asking how to overcome panic attacks without meds. I told them that I didn’t have much money and that I was desperate for help. One user kindly pointed me to his preferred panic attack treatment – the 60 Second Panic Solution via PM, and I haven’t looked back since.

The program was developed by a renowned therapist named Anna Gibson-Steel. It comes as a handy ebook with step-by-step instructions for overcoming panic attacks.

At first, I was hesitant to buy the book because the website looked the same as all the other useless anti-anxiety treatments I had wasted my money on. But I decided to give it a chance, and boy, am I glad I made that decision!

I credit the treatment method with helping me to completely eliminate panic attacks and become a more relaxed, in control person.

Panic Attack Treatment

When I first read the treatment manual, I was thrilled to see that Anna Gibson-Steel confirmed my belief about anxiety medication. she says that pills aren’t a viable long-term solution, that they just mask anxiety instead of treating it.

Anna’s anxiety treatment is based on neuro-activation therapy. This might sound like a quite scientific name, but the concept is really simple. I learned how to use it and apply it within 20 minutes. And once you know how to use it, the technique can alleviate symptoms of panic within just 60-seconds! (Hence the name of the program).

The technique utilizes the power of the mind-body connection. Anna teaches you how to use your thumb and index finger to help relax the part of your brain that activates your fight/flight response (the amygdala). This response is also known as ‘hyperarousal’, and it is the cause of your panic attacks. Buddhist monks also use Anna’s anti-anxiety method, and if you’ve ever met a monk, you’ll know how relaxed and calm they invariably are.

The image above is reminiscent of the technique in this course.

I spent a lot of time in Thailand recently, and I visited numerous Buddhist temples there. When I asked the monks whether they knew about this method, most of them confirmed that they use it a lot! I had been skeptical about Anna’s claim that her method was prevalent in Buddhism, but she wasn’t lying.

Not only does Anna teach you how to use the neuro-activation technique in her book, she also gives you a 3-week program that helps you completely eliminate your anxiety. So this is a long-term solution.

Here are 4 reasons I encourage you to buy the 60 Second Panic Solution right now:

  1. Natural Anxiety Relief. I don’t know about you, but I hated having to rely on addictive medications like Xanax to control my anxiety.  These pills never really helped me beat anxiety either, they just masked it. This program offers natural anxiety relief in the form of a technique that helps you use the power of your brain in your favor.
  2. Quick Treatment & Long-Term Relief. I learned the basics of the method in just 20 minutes, and I found that each time I felt a panic attack coming on, I was able to control it and eliminate the worry within just 60 seconds!! Not even the strongest dose of benzodiazepines worked that quickly. Better still, the method works as a long-term anxiety treatment. The more you use it, the less you’ll find anxiety bothers you. You can quickly alleviate your symptoms, becoming gradually more relaxed with each day. I went from being anxious and constantly on edge, to the most relaxed person you’ll ever meet. Even family members were shocked by how calmer and happier I appeared to be.
  3. Cheap. This program is very cheap for the benefits it gives you. Prescription medications are expensive, and therapists often charge thousands of dollars per one-week program. The 60 Second Panic Solution costs just $52, which represents great value for something that can help you overcome anxiety. And you get access to the treatment plan for life!
  4. 60-Day Money Back Guarantee. Anna Gibson is so confident in her program that she offers a two-month money back guarantee. If you don’t get your desired results, you’ll get a full refund, no questions asked. Compare this to therapists who won’t give you your money back, even if their treatment fails to work. The 60 Second Panic Solution is completely risk-free!

The 60 Second Panic Solution completely changed my life. As a result of purchasing the program and implementing it, I am no longer held back by my fears. I am calmer and a much more confident person than I have ever been.
